Rivers have flowed through my life.  

Being by the river creates space; a stretch of the landscape that can’t be built on. There is movement, reflection and the mystery of what lies beneath.

I am particularly drawn to the River Great Ouse where I live; Rushing water, a soft breeze, bird wings, insects humming.

My time on the banks of the river drawing ripples and eddies, making paintings with silt and the river herself – it is all an act of love.

I make drawings by the laughing spring. I paint submerged riverbank roots. I work in the winter waters of high rising floods. In spring and summer, I paint with silt and mud as insects dance around me.

I create with the river because I am water too. My blood vessels and neurons dance and flow like rivers dance and flow through the land - the life force of our beautiful planet. 

These works are a call to come back into relationship with the swirling, dancing, flowing power and life and joy and love of our rivers.

FAQs

How will my artwork be shipped?

I take great care to pack artwork as securely as possible.

Most artwork will be shipped flat securely between greyboard. The river spill paintings will be shipped rolled.

All artworks are carefully packaged with archival tissue paper and in eco-friendly materials.

All artworks are posted tracked and signed with either Parcelforce or Royal Mail.

Will my artwork be framed?

All artwork is sold unframed unless you have selected otherwise.

There is only a framing option to purchase for the ripple line drawings.

How do refunds and returns work?

If artwork hasn't been received after 30 days of purchasing the artwork please get in touch within 40 days of purchasing the artwork for a full refund.

If artwork arrives damaged please send me images within 30 days of receiving the artwork and I will provide a full or partial refund based on the severity of the damage.

If you receive the artwork and decide you no longer want it I am unable to offer refunds and returns. Please purchase with intention.
