Bluebell plant with honey bee in the style of a scientific illustration. This April 2019 watercolour was inspired by walks through a local bluebell wood and the facts and folklore surrounding these beautiful, and slightly sinister flowers. More than half the world's bluebells are in Britain. They provide an early source of nectar to bees and other insects. Signed and dated by me, Agnes Becker.
