#littlestoriesofmylife giveaway winner with Circle of Pine Trees

This November, we are stardust sponsored Circle of Pine Trees #littlestoriesofmylife gallery on instagram. Laura, curator of Circle of Pine Trees, started the hastag for celebrating and/or sharing the tiniest elements of the stories of our lives. Small doesn’t equate to insignificant: these are the little moments that add up to the narratives that carry us all. Two hundred beatuiful images were tagged in the #littlestoriesofmylife_wearestardust hashtag, with the winner receiving a box of 30 we are stardust Christmas cards where art and science collide. The Singing Robin: Facts and Folklore

I had such a wonderful time creating the Robin singing Christmas Greetings card. The robin is the UK's national bird and a symbol of Christmas.  Science When researching the robin, I learned that they one of the only birds to be singing at Christmas because, unlike other garden birds, they protect their territory all year round. However, they are very territorial and will fight to the death to protect their patch if needed. Their song is part of their defence mechanism as it lets other robins know to stay out. I am very excited to announce my first ever online collaboration with Laura Pashby, freelance writer, editor and lifestyle photographer (not to mention the mother of three small boys!). Her blog, Circle of Pine Trees, is a record of time passing and of the seasons changing. It’s a blog for those who take pleasure in a posy of flowers picked from the garden or the way in which sunlight falls across the pillow.
